Term-time only, or stretched across the year

Your funded hours are a set number of hours a year. You can use them in the 38 weeks of term time, or spread them across the 50 weeks a year Lily's is open, as fewer hours each week.

Term-time only (38 weeks)

30 or 15 hours a week in term time. The weeks outside term are available at our paid rate.

Stretched across the year (50 weeks)

22.8 or 11.4 hours a week, every week we are open. No charge for bank holidays or the Christmas closure.

The 10-hour day

A funded session can be up to 10 hours long.

At Lily's a 10-hour day runs from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Our full day runs to 6:30pm. If you want the eleventh hour, it is a paid extra, shown on its own line in the planner.

Paying families can choose a 10-hour day too, for less.

What is free and what you pay for

Free

Your funded hours. They are never charged, and paying for anything else is never a condition of a funded place.

Paid, only if you choose it, each on its own line

  • The eleventh hour
  • Sessions beyond your funded hours
  • Weeks outside term time, if you use your hours in term time
  • Inclusive: Inclusive means your child’s whole day is taken care of. A premium menu, freshly cooked here, covering every meal and snack of the day. Nappies and wipes until preschool, and sun cream. All the enrichment and local activities we run. Nothing to pack, nothing to add.

It is always your choice and never affects a funded place.
